L'Inconnu du Lac

Lust, the desperation for love and the physical attraction that wins out over reasoned doubts. These are the ingredients of L'Inconnu du Lac (Stranger by the Lake). Scene of passion and crime is a lake in the French countryside where men of various persuasions come to meet other men.

The nude beach is more lurking than healthy.  Anonymity and privacy are basic requirements, which is why many of the lake's visitors don't fancy the interference of a nosy police detective. The inspector is tasked with investigating who is responsible for the puzzling death of a recreationist. The viewer, as well as protagonist Franck, already know right away what the fuss is about. The killer's motive is the biggest mystery....
