Mushka

When Sarah goes on an adventure in the woods she’s been forbidden to go to by her father, she meets a Siberian tiger cub and quickly forms a strong bond with him. She calls him Mushka. But Mushka grows very quickly, and this obviously has big consequences for his and Sarah’s living conditions.

Andreas Deja, director, writer and animator of Mushka, has worked on multiple Disney productions as a supervising character animator for many years, such as on Jafar (Aladdin, 1992), Scar (The Lion King, 1994) and Lilo (Lilo & Stitch, 2002). Mushka is his passion project, and after more than ten years in production the short film is finally out for people to see. You can expect beautifully flowing character animation in this heartwarming story about love and sacrifice.
