Raak mij aan! Touch me!

Mind My Mind is a poignant, moving and optimistic depiction of life with autism.

In everyday life, Chris, a young man with autism, tries to conceal his obsession with model aircraft. Hans, the little man inside Chris’s head, helps him with this. Hans writes scripts enabling Chris to deal with all kinds of day-to-day situations and encounters. At a party, Chris meets Gwen, a zoologist, who invites him to come and see her favourite chameleon. Chris is attracted to Gwen and bravely follows Hans’s flirting script.

In this beautifully hand-drawn animated film, director Floor Adams offers an original insight into this world - much of which non-autistic people will recognise too. The film is making a veritable victory tour of the film festivals and is a firm favourite with the public and the press. Mind My Mind has already won several prizes and has made the Oscars shortlist in the Animated Short Film category.
