Mad God

Mad God is about a character called “The Assassin” who lives in a dark apocalyptic world full of deformed creatures that originate from the subconscious. The creatures make The Assasin's life even harder than it already was.

Phil Tippett has been known for decades for his stop-motion work in Hollywood films. He is responsible for many special effects in the original Star Wars trilogy and the movie Robocop. He also worked for Jurassic Park as an animation supervisor and received an Oscar for it.

Although the film Mad God premiered in 2021, it is actually a project that Tippett started 30 years ago, after Robocop 2 (1990). Due to his work on Jurassic Park, Tippett never had time to finish Mad God. But thanks to Kickstarter proceeds, he was able to pull out his stop-motion models again with this spectacular film as the end result!
