From Wednesday 19 to Sunday 23 November 2025, Forum Groningen was all about documentaries during the IDFA festival in Groningen!
Every year in November, we celebrate 5 days of the flourishing international documentary film in all its diversity, during the Groningen satellite edition of the IDFA. We offer you a blistering cross-section of the festival in Amsterdam, with many international premieres or world premieres. The creative documentary is always the starting point for IDFA, with films and projects that artistically reveal reality and express a filmmaker's vision. In addition, the festival offers a sampling of genres, makers and production countries.
And in addition to many premieres, there were of course also many fascinating introductions and post-screening discussions, talk shows, music, a beautiful VR film and much more!
