Free library membership for kids

If you're under 18, you can join for free! You can borrow up to 25 books, DVDs, games, audio books or magazines plus 10 e-books at the same time. And don't worry if you happen to return your items late – you don't have to pay a fine. There are nine Forum libraries in the municipality of Groningen, which means there is always one near you in Groningen. See below where you can find our libraries.

Museum Storyworld

Storytelling is a gift, but where does the art lie? At the Storyworld museum, you will discover the secrets of great storytellers! We do this using Dutch and international successes in the fields of comics, animation, and games. From Asterix and Aladdin to The Red Turtle and Horizon Zero Dawn.

Spruit Cinema (2+)

every sunday from 10:30 AM till 11:30 AM
Especially for toddlers, preschoolers, and their parents, we organize Spruit Cinema! Children between 2 and 6 years old can join us every Sunday morning to watch the most fun animated films and play, with their parents close by.
