In Official Secrets, Katharine Gun is a brave British whistle-blower who puts her life and that of her loved ones at risk to do the right thing.

Oscar-winning director Gavin Hood (Eye in the Sky) tells the true story of Katherine Gun (Keira Knightley). Katherine is a whistle-blower in the British secret service who, during the run-up to the 2003 Iraq invasion, leaked confidential NSA documents revealing an illegal espionage operation between the United States and the United Kingdom. Journalist Martin Bright took a great risk when he published the leaked document in the London newspaper The Observer, after which it soon made international headlines.

Katherine was called a traitor by her government and accused of violating the Official Secrets Act. She refused to give in and stood her ground, even though this meant risking her own life and the lives of her loved ones. Director Gavin Hood is joined by a stellar cast, including Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Matt Smith (The Crown) and Rhys Ifans (Snowden) in this compelling film about a forgotten heroine who risked everything to save the lives of thousands.
