Raak mij aan! Touch me!

Radical new version of Chekhov's classic Uncle Vanya. With a magnificent lead role for Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers)

Andrew Scott is hot: after memorable roles in Fleabag and Sherlock, his starring role in All Of Us Strangers marked his definitive breakthrough. In one-man show Vanya, a modern and acclaimed adaptation of Chekhov's famous play Uncle Vanya, he once again plays the stars from heaven. Filmed live in London's legendary West End theater and tightly edited into an unforgettable cinematic experience.

Uncle Vanya is set on the estate where Vanja lives with his mother and his niece Sonja. Life is defined by order, regularity and hard work. But then Sonja's father, Professor Serebryakov and his second wife, the much younger Elena, also come to live on the estate....
