Urban Arts Tour: Work in Progress

At a number of public locations around and within the Forum, the theme Work in Progress has been temporarily brought to life through visual art and other art forms. What appears from a distance to be a cordoned-off area where road maintenance is being performed turns out, upon closer inspection, a location which hold more secrets. Through these subtle, site-specific 'urban interventions', visitors come to experience the city in a different way than they are accustomed to. This form of art offers inspiration for the potential future design of the public spaces in Groningen’s city center. During the tour, you’ll see work by Atharva Gupta, Beatrice Fini, Bouke Mekel, Liza de Jong, Mahsa Hosseini and Reynaert Vosveld.

The walk will be offered twice. It starts at the Let's Gro desk on the ground floor of the Forum. Please arrive 15 minutes early. The tour is suitable for all ages. No registration is required, full is full.
