Afghanistan, 2021, shortly before the Taliban come back to power. Naru, the only female camerawoman at Kabul's main television station, is trying to retain custody of her three-year-old son. Since leaving her unfaithful husband, she, like most Afghan women, has become convinced that there are no good men in her country.
That’s why Naru is surprised when Qodrat, the leading journalist at Kabul TV, offers her a career opportunity. As they travel together around the city to report on the last days of freedom, sparks fly between them, and Naru begins to doubt her conviction. Could there actually be a good man somewhere?
