Hundreds of Beavers

A drunk apple brandy salesman goes from zero to hero as a fur trapper with one mission: to defeat hundreds of beavers.

After his apple brandy business is completely destroyed, a drunken salesman is left with no money or shelter in an icy wilderness. He tries to survive and learns the art of fur trapping through trial and error. When he falls in love with the daughter of a fur trader, he gets an apparently impossible task: catch hundreds of beavers and he can marry her. What begins as a simple hunt turns into an increasingly absurd struggle where ingenious traps, wild chases, and an army of beavers make it harder and harder for him.

Both the visual gags and the soundtrack are inventive, and despite a runtime of 1 hour and 48 minutes, this snowy fun never feels repetitive. No words are spoken. Beards grow and beavers beaver, and the humor flows abundantly.
