After Résistance, the story of Charles de Gaulle continues in Liberté, the second and concluding part of the epic diptych directed by Antonin Baudry.

June 1940. France surrenders to the German army and signs the armistice. Amidst the chaos, one man refuses to accept the situation: General de Gaulle. As a newly minted enemy of the state, he flees – without military support or hope – to London to pick up the pieces of his fallen homeland.

De Gaulle has one unwavering belief: a new free France and Europe that does not lay down its arms against Nazi Germany.
