Groningse Waacking scene

The dancers from the Groningen Waacking scene will deliver expressive performances. Waacking is a dance style that originated in the underground gay clubs of Los Angeles in the 1970s. It began as a free expression of identity. Through a mix of punking, whacking, and posing, people could express themselves. Today, waacking is a growing dance style within the dance community. Dani, Nikos, Grace, Ines, and Iris will showcase a waacking performance on classic Eurovision songs on our stage!
