Homemade robots taking each other on with brute force and clashing weapons: that is exactly what you can expect on the battlefield of the Boeliebots! In this Groningen-based version of the world-famous BattleBots, antweights (robots measuring no more than 15 × 15 cm) compete in a fiercely contested tournament. There are three different classes, all battling inside a 2 m³ arena, with only one goal: to become the ultimate winner. Which strategic maneuvers will lead to the strongest offensive, and which technology will come out on top?
Join the competition or come cheer on this robotic spectacle. Between rounds, competitors regularly work on their bots in the pits, giving you the chance to watch as they prepare them for the next match. The prizes will be awarded at 4:00 PM, so be sure to stick around for the grand finale.
