Perhaps the very best (animated) film about a single mother. A rich story about mothers, children, keeping smiling – and discovering who you want to be somewhere along the way.
Student Hana falls in love with a "wolfman," and together they have two children, Ame and Yuki, who are half human and half wolf. The young family's happy but modest life comes to an abrupt end when the father tragically dies while hunting. Struggling to raise her children alone in the busy city, Hana makes the courageous decision to move to a dilapidated house in the countryside, hoping that one day her children will find their own path to happiness—whether they are "human" or "wolf."
Rediscover Wolf Children by Academy Award–nominated director Mamoru Hosoda in theaters, now in breathtaking 4K.
