A polished and entertaining Hollywood film about the famous Nuremberg trials, in which the most important Nazi leaders were tried. Russell Crowe is nominated for an Oscar for the first time in 20 years for his role as Göring.
In 1945, shortly after the fall of the Third Reich, the most important Nazi leaders are arrested. American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley is tasked with determining whether they are fit to stand trial at the Nuremberg trials.
One of the prisoners he has to assess is Hermann Göring – charming, manipulative, dangerous. What follows is a deadly game of power and mind between the two men, while the world waits for justice. Based on a true story, previously published in book form as Jack El-Hai's page-turner The Nazi and the Psychiatrist.
There are no new dates planned (yet) for Nuremberg.
