Forum Wildlife Photo Competition
Be inspired by the photos from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and take part in our photo contest!
Do you love taking pictures? Then enter this photo contest and take the most beautiful, funniest or most surprising nature photo! You can do this anywhere: on vacation, in the Noorderplantsoen, Head out with your camera. You can do so anywhere: on holiday, in the park, in your neighbors’ backyard, or in the countryside. Take a photo of your cat while hunting, a robin in the snow, or a great close-up of the first spring flower. Who knows—your most beautiful, funniest, or most surprising nature photo might win a prize and be displayed at the Forum!
Prizes:
The winner in each age category will receive a one-year subscription to WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo Emmen. The winners of the second and third prizes in each category will receive a Wildlife prize package. And best of all: all winning photos will be exhibited at the Forum for two weeks starting mid-April.
Rules
- You can participate in three age categories: up to and including 12 years, 13–17 years, and 18 years and older.
- You may submit a maximum of two photos, along with your story (Where was the photo taken? What was happening at that moment? etc.).
- Submissions are open from January 30 through March 12. Per category, the Forum will select a number of photos.
- From March 19 through March 27, everyone can vote for these photos.
- In each category, the three photos with the most votes will win.
- Starting mid-April, the winning photos and their accompanying descriptions will be exhibited at the Forum for two weeks.
By submitting your photo, you grant the Forum permission to use it for the exhibition of the winning photos at the Forum and for promotional communications related to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.
