Sunday is María Margarita's favorite day, when she goes to the cinema with her parents and brothers. When, after a setback, her family no longer has the money for the weekly outing, María turns out to have a special talent; she can retell films fantastically in great detail. Her gift is bringing a growing audience into the wonderful world of film, but in the meantime, the Chilean mining town where María lives is about to change forever.
