Wednesday August 4: Dirty Dancing
In the summer of 1963, seventeen-year-old Baby (Jennifer Grey) loses her innocence at a summer camp where she spends the holidays with her parents, and where she falls head over heels for the more mature dance instructor Johnny (Patrick Swayze). From him she learns the steps of a 'dirty dance' and discovers her own strengths and talents. Dirty Dancing is a charming and sparkling dance movie. The catchy songs, the romance, the dance moves and the enormous chemistry between the two main actors made the film a huge hit. The song "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" won an Oscar.

Wednesday August 11: Raiders of the Lost Ark (40th Anniversary)
A barely outdated ode to the adventure films that director Steven Spielberg loved to watch as a boy. In Raiders Of The Lost Ark, heroic archaeologist Indiana "Indy" Jones clashes with an untrustworthy rival who is ordered by Hitler to search for the mythical Ark of the Covenant, a historical relic that appears to possess magical powers. So Indy alternates between evading ingenious death traps in ruins, creepy fauna and nasty Nazis. Raiders Of The Lost Ark is exciting and funny and an absolute highlight in the sympathetic Indiana Jones series.

Wednesday August 25: A Quiet Place Part 2
The sequel to the unexpected horror thriller bestseller A Quiet Place from 2018, where Emily Blunt and family try to survive without making any noise. In this thrilling second part, the family has left their home and must face the dangers of the outside world. They soon learn that the blind monsters that prey on sound aren't the only threats lurking. The film can be seen without foreknowledge of part 1.

Wednesday September 1: Clueless
Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) is thé it-girl from the school. Rich, pretty, with the very latest flip phone and a flawless (nineties) fashion sense. It seems superficial, but as if! - Cher likes to help and wants the best for the people around her. Together with best friend Dionne (Stacey Dash), she takes care of the decidedly uncool newcomer Tai (Brittany Murphy). But when Tai becomes more popular than Cher, things start to get messy. And why does it bother Cher so much that Tai likes her ex-stepbrother Josh (Paul Rudd)?
Director Amy Heckerling, who also wrote the sharp, comedic script (loosely after Jane Austen's Emma), started a real trend in the 1990s with high school book adaptations, of which Clueless is still a fan favorite.
