What's on

Get your items repaired at the Repair Café Kids and discover the world of repair and sustainability in a playful and inspiring way.

The Repair Café Kids is specially designed for children and their toys, where you can learn to repair your broken toys together with repairer Joël! Of course, your parents are welcome to join, so you can learn how to do it together and do it yourselves next time!

Children can bring in their broken toys (small, plastic or wood, books with pages half torn off or falling apart, simple electronics, fabric (or plastic) dolls and teddy bears), and you will work together to see if they can be repaired. This gives children insight into how toys are put together and how, as part of sustainability, you don't have to throw everything away immediately but can also repair items.

There will also be extra toys available, so Joël can work with the children to repair something they can potentially take home or give to someone in need.

Practical information

This is a free drop-in event for children and their parents and/or guardians. You are welcome between 14:30 and 16:00. Registration is not required!
