Two men go in search of the woman: they both love her. Why did she leave? They each have their suspicions, but hide them from each other and yet, surprisingly, they never become rivals. The story of Trenque Lauquen switches seamlessly between different genres (science fiction, love story, even horror), interweaves a number of storylines and is told in two parts.
Tuesday 12 May, with an introduction by Kevin Toma. Toma studied Film and Performing Arts at Radboud University in Nijmegen. He began writing film reviews for Filmkrant magazine and later worked as a web editor for Cinema.nl. He has been a film journalist for de Volkskrant newspaper since 2007.
