Marta (Rohrwacher) and Antonio (Germano) break up after a trivial argument. Marta isolates herself while Antonio, an up-and-coming chef, throws himself into his work. Despite ending the relationship, he cannot forget Marta. When Marta discovers that her lack of appetite has other causes, it turns her life upside down.
