The Portuguese House

This elegant, slightly melancholic drama adopts the serene pace of life on a quinta, inspired by a true story. The storytelling, with great attention to detail, is supported by the warm performances of Manolo Solo (Pan's Labyrinth) and the always fantastic Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction), complemented by a wonderful role from Branka Katić (Black Cat, White Cat) as a sparkling Serbian waitress with a free spirit.

The Portuguese House (Una quinta Portuguesa) premiered at the Malaga Film Festival and was nominated for three Goyas, the most prestigious Spanish film awards.
