Director Naoko Yamada brings an impressive and understated coming-of-age film with A Silent Voice.

How do you deal with the mistakes of your past? Can you really forgive - or be forgiven - someone after all that has happened? A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi) is a deeply moving Japanese animated film that does not shy away from these questions. The film tells the story of Shoya Ishida, who as a child bullied his deaf classmate Shoko Nishimiya.

Years later, now a lonely teenager himself struggling with guilt and isolation, he decides to look her up. What begins as an attempt at reconciliation grows into a vulnerable search for forgiveness, friendship and self-acceptance.

Prior to the film, the short film C C C - Animated Music Video by Aishwarya Chaudhari and Siddharth Modi will be shown.
