The iconic film The Graduate - featuring the now legendary title track Mrs. Robinson by Simon & Garfunkel - can rightly be called a classic. Awarded the Oscar for best director at the time (Mike Nichols), the film can now be relived in a 4K restoration that makes it sparkle visually like never before.
During a party in honour of his graduation, the young and shy Benjamin is seduced by the mysterious Mrs Robinson, the wife of one of his father's best friends. The secret escapade is complicated when Benjamin subsequently falls in love with her daughter Elaine. Result: a tragicomic cat-and-mouse game full of confusion, desire and rebellion against the backdrop of the American 1960s.
