The young bank clerk Jean discovers the seductive world of roulette during a visit to a casino. There he meets Jackie, a glamorous woman who lives entirely for the game and lets her existence be determined by luck, loss, and the hope for the next big win.

Together they travel along the casinos of the Côte d'Azur, where love and gambling addiction become increasingly intertwined.
