A Talent for Murder is the first feature film by Dutch photographer and director Anton Corbijn (Control, The American, A Most Wanted Man) in more than ten years.

A young literary agent travels to Switzerland to persuade world-famous The Talented Mr Ripley author Patricia Highsmith (Helen Mirren) to write another book in the Ripley thriller series. However, his attempts soon take a sinister turn as it turns out that the quirky writer is playing her own psychological chess game.

The film is based on the play ‘Switzerland’ from 2014 and stars Helen Mirren, Alden Ehrenreich, Olivia Cooke, and Juliet Stevenson. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
