“That's a hassle” is the favorite expression of high school student Nagi Seishiro who has a boring life. Until Mikage Reo, a classmate who dreams of winning the World Cup, discovers Nagi's hidden talent and encourages him to play football and show his exceptional talent to everyone. One day he receives an invitation to the mysterious Blue Lock project, where he meets the best attackers from across the country. Because of his big dream to become the best, together with Reo, top talent Nagi ends up in a whole new world.
