Wildlife Photographer of the Year

The internationally acclaimed exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Year, showcasing the world’s finest nature photography, returned to the Forum!

From 31 January to 3 May, you could see the award-winning photos from the 61st edition and discover the stories behind these breathtaking and moving images. Nature and photography enthusiasts could visit Forum Groningen for this special photo exhibition. Discover new, impressive images that reveal the diversity and fragility of life on Earth.

The exhibition—curated by the Natural History Museum in London—presented the very best nature and wildlife photography from across the globe.

For this leading photography competition, photographers of all ages and nationalities were invited to submit their work, which is judged by an international panel of professional photographers. The photos in the WPY exhibition were selected from around 60,000 entries.

The exhibition highlights the winning images across a total of nineteen categories. Visitors were inspired by the beauty and diversity of life on Earth and learned more about the impact humans have on our stunning yet vulnerable natural world.

Forum Groningen presented the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition in collaboration with the Natural History Museum in London.
