14-year-old Elias grows up in a warm family in a quiet Belgian village. His father is a well-known schlager singer, Elias has many friends and is dating Valerie. When he befriends his new boy next door, Elias' world is turned upside down. He is attracted to the hip and free Alexander. Elias realises he is truly in love for the first time in his life, but does not want to be ‘different’. The struggle with himself and his burgeoning feelings takes him from one emotion to another.
