Un Amor

To escape the hectic city life and her demanding job, thirty-something Natalia moves to a village in the Spanish countryside. In a dilapidated house with a clumsy dog ​​at her side, she hopes to build a new life. However, her aggressive landlord and the distrustful villagers do not give her a warm welcome.

But then Andreas, an older neighbor and fellow outsider, makes her an unexpected proposal. Their turbulent relationship quickly turns into an obsessive passion that takes over Nat completely and ultimately forces her to look at herself with new eyes.

Director Isabel Coixet based her film on the Spanish bestseller of the same name, a story in which both the nourishing and destructive power of this all-encompassing emotion play a role. Un Amor has won several awards, including for the powerful acting of lead actors Laia Costa (Victoria) and Hovik Keuchkerian (La casa de papel).
