Thelma

Squibb, who did many of her stunts in the film herself, plays Thelma Post, a feisty 93-year-old grandmother who is scammed over the phone by someone posing as her grandson (Fred Hechinger, The White Lotus). She embarks on a dangerous scavenger hunt through Los Angeles, accompanied by an elderly friend (Roundtree) and his mobility scooter, to get back what was snatched from her. There are also roles for Parker Posey, Clark Gregg and Malcolm McDowell.
