The remote logging town of Sourdough Creek is preparing for the shooting of a major motion picture. Corrupt mayors Jeb and Zeke want to raze a fishing village to build a resort. Violently, they nip resistance to this in the bud. However, they are stymied by Hellbug, a terrifying superinsect from the adjacent forest, and Slide, a masked avenger cum guitar-playing cowboy from the local pub.
