Raak mij aan! Touch me!

A film about poverty and injustice in Colombia with dreamy, often surreal images and a dynamic camera that is constantly on the skin of the characters.

Los Reyes Del Mundo by director Laura Mora Ortega has no shortage of beautiful shots. Set in Colombia, the film follows five teenagers who want to start a new life, away from the violence and poverty they grew up with. As the film moves from the busy streets of the city of Medellin to the misty Andes mountains, Lauro Mora captures an equally stunning and eye-catching image of a country in transition.

Los Reyes Del Mundo is not just another social film about poverty and injustice in Colombia. The dreamy and surreal images and the dynamic camerawork make this film very special. The camera is constantly on the skin of the characters: it walks along, plays along, climbs along and stumbles along. A deserved winner at the San Sebastián Film Festival.

There are no new dates planned (yet) for Los Reyes Del Mundo.
