In this dryly comic German drama, Marielle suddenly sees and hears everything her parents do and say. An intriguing premise with absurd and confronting consequences.
Together with their daughter Marielle (Laenie Geiseler), Julia (Julia Jentsch) and Tobias (Felix Kramer) lead a good life. They have a beautiful house and both have their own careers. But both parents also have their secrets. After an incident at Marielle's school, everything changes: she suddenly discovers she can see and hear everything her parents do. Even behind closed doors. Slowly but surely, the lies and tensions within her parents' marriage come to light. Julia and Tobias can no longer ignore them. Marielle Weiss was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
