When their unborn child is found to have an unknown growth defect, Leon (Vincent van der Valk) and Jaimy (Noortje Herlaar) seek refuge in alternative medicine. Holistic midwife Nicole (Tamar van den Dop) promises to help them. What starts with harmless natural treatments turns into life-threatening rituals in which the parents-to-be risk everything to help their daughter.
