Five filmmakers, five countries, five authentic stories about displacement. After a sold-out world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2026 and five stars in The Guardian, the five short films of the Displacement Film Fund are going on tour.

Five filmmakers from Afghanistan, Iran, Ukraine, Syria, and Somalia each created a new short film with the support of the Displacement Film Fund. Their world premiere in January 2026 took place in a sold-out hall at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Now you can see them at the Forum.

Film critic Peter Bradshaw awarded the films five stars in The Guardian. He described them as "shocking, funny, candid, and deeply mysterious" and praised the collection as a whole.

Films are spoken in various languages and subtitled in English.
