In one of Moscow's suburbs, a contemporary couple going through a divorce attempts to get their lives back on track as quickly as possible.

Middle manager Boris has a new, younger love, while hair salon owner Zhenja has set her hopes on a wealthy older man. Before the marriage is finally dissolved, the two make each other's lives miserable in explosive arguments, without regard for their child Aljosja – until the 12-year-old boy is found to be missing one morning.

Loveless won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and was nominated for ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ at the Academy Awards.
