Classics: Clueless - 30th Anniversary

In Clueless, the ultimate cult classic from the 1990s, we follow the rich and popular teenager Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) who, together with her best friend Dionne, runs riot in the corridors of an exclusive high school in Beverly Hills. Fashion, friendship and romance take centre stage in this sparkling and satirical comedy, which is loosely based on Jane Austen's novel Emma.

With her designer outfits and sharp one-liners, Cher tries to shape her world – whether it's pairing up classmates, revamping a “less popular” girl, or discovering her own feelings. Director Amy Heckerling uses humour and style to paint a picture of an era that is still influential today, from teen films to fashion icons.
