Can we still save the Earth? This futuristic film takes you to the year 3000, where climate change and new technologies have the world in their grip. When Arco steals his older sister's time travel suit, he accidentally ends up in 2075. There he meets young Iris, who helps him return to the future, while a funny trio of villains try to throw a spanner in the works. This hopeful science fiction film is reminiscent of the worlds of Miyazaki (director of Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro, among others), who also interweaves nature and technology with colour and magic. Arco is a breathtaking adventure that could well become a modern classic!
