- Doc

A delightful, cheerful, unparalleled suspenseful documentary, so incredible that only a Scandinavian writer could have dreamed it up. Only now it's real.
Norwegian sisters Kari and May buy an apartment in the Swedish hamlet of Gullspång. To their amazement, the seller Olaug looks exactly like their older sister, who committed suicide in 1988. She even has the same nickname, Lita. The devout sisters immediately think of a miracle. This was meant to be. The lonely Olaug is welcomed with open arms into the large, warm family of Kari and May.
This is just the beginning of a phenomenal rollercoaster in which coincidences and revelations follow each other in ever greater succession. The deeper the sisters dig into the family history, the stranger, more exciting and scarier it becomes. Inimitable as life itself, the plot of the film changes several times. A fascinating family drama becomes a comedy by the Coen Brothers, a genuine true crime and ultimately Twin Peaks in real life. Nothing is what it seems. Or is it?
Before The Gullspång Miracle we will show the short film Wander to Wonder. A beautiful, dark, comic film about the three stars of a children's television series from the eighties, Mary, Billybud and Fumbleton. After the creator of the show dies, they are left alone in the studio. They struggle on and make increasingly strange episodes for their fans. Nina Gantz immediately gained world fame with her graduation film Edmond when she promptly won a BAFTA for it. Her second film Wander to Wonder is another short stop-motion animation film. It is very funny, heartbreaking and melancholic. Wander to Wonder was previously shown in the Forum during Framed.
