“The most terrifying film I have ever seen,” said Stanley Kubrick about Spoorloos. Now the classic is being re-released in theaters in a restored version.
George Sluizer's psychothriller won a Golden Calf in 1988 and received an English-language remake five years later (The Vanishing). Film adaptation of Tim Krabbé's novel Het gouden ei, in which a young woman (Johanna ter Steege) disappears at a gas station during a holiday to the south of France. Her husband continues to search obsessively for her for years.
There are no new dates planned (yet) for Classics: Spoorloos.
