Discover Groningen with Stad.
Planning a trip to Groningen? You can't go past the new Forum. Not just because of its splendid views of Groningen, of course, but also because of Stad (City). This installation at Expo area is full of fascinating stories about the city's history and its development into a lively, modern city.
Projections and a model of the city centre bring alive Groningen's rich history, including the city's siege and liberation in the 17th century. You can also select stories about the many students, bicycles and cultural activities of Groningen. A digital map of the city provides detailed information about its inhabitants.

You can find the renewed Tourist Information Centre on the ground floor of the Forum. It's called the Groningen Store: a brand-store filled with sustainable, local and fair product.
