Eva (Sidse Babett Knudsen) works as a prison guard; she is idealistic and enjoys her job. Until she sees Mikkel (Sebastian Bull) arrive among a new group of prisoners. She asks to be transferred to his high-security unit. Behind Eva's request lies a big secret. Her standards fade during her quest for justice. Eva takes increasingly greater risks, but how far can she go?
