Job van Tol - Life lessons from animals

Job van Tol - Life lessons from animals

Job van Tol works daily as an animal keeper among special species such as penguins and vultures at ARTIS Amsterdam. He decided to study the history between humans and animals based on his own profession. He wrote a book about it: De oppasser [The keeper]. During Museum Night, using the life stories of some famous zoo inhabitants, such as wisent Willem and bonobo Mafuka, he talks about the lessons animals teach us, about the world and about ourselves. The lecture Life lessons from animals is in English.
