The lives of Eli (14) and Nina (16) seem carefree. Eli is part of his swim team’s selection, and Nina is in love with her friend Steffie. The divorce of Maria and Jacob places them in the middle of both parents. In the battle for co-parenting and the arguments that ensue, Eli and Nina are forced to make choices they do not want to make. With their own sorrows, Eli and Nina drift further apart. Until they realize they are both searching for the same love, acknowledgment, and comfort.
