Dungeon Master Crash Course

Have you ever wondered what Dungeons & Dragons is like from the other side of the screen? Do you want to learn how to prepare and run a game of D&D? Or are you simply interested in what it takes to be a Dungeon Master? Then join us at our Dungeon Master Crash Course!

We’ll take you through the fundamentals of being a Dungeon Master: running exciting combat encounters, encouraging roleplay, creating challenging and fun puzzles, and most importantly, making sure you and your players have a good time. You’ll get to practice with various exercises during the Crash Course, all catered to starting Dungeon Masters.

After the Crash Course, you can even apply for the (very official) Pub Heroes DM Exam! This is included in the ticket price. This means you can put your new Dungeon Master’s skills and knowledge to the test by running a game at one of our Dungeons, Dragons & Drinks games, with one of our experienced DMs present to coach you during the session.  

The Crash Course is hosted by our very own Cesco Homminga, who has more than a decade of both DMing and teaching under his belt. The event will be in English, unless all participants are native Dutch speakers. Drinks are included in the ticket price.
