Award-winning animation and small and tender story firmly rooted in everyday reality.
Linda wants to eat chicken, but unfortunately mother Paulette is no kitchen princess. When Paulette feels bad for unfairly punishing her daughter, she wants to do anything to make it right again. And so Linda asks if she can cook a chicken! But in a city paralyzed by a strike - a nod to the current political climate in France - that little plan might prove more complicated than imagined. So Linda's simple request leads to a wacky adventure with frantic chases, rather clumsy police interventions and musical interludes.
Akin to older French vérité cinema, the film unfolds through hand-drawn, painterly animations that paint a beautiful landscape.
Please note that this film is French spoken and English subtitled
