All Shall Be Well

Angie and Pat are a 60-year-old couple enjoying their life of family and friends in Hong Kong. They have lived together in Pat's apartment for over thirty years, and the two women are loved by those around them. But when Pat dies suddenly, it soon becomes clear that Angie's warm relationship with Pat's family isn't as unconditional as she thought. For Angie, in a period of mourning, begins a struggle in which she fights for dignity, acceptance, and the preservation of the home she shared with her beloved. All Shall Be Well is a moving and nuanced portrait of love, loss and resilience, delicately illustrating that, under pressure, tolerance can falter. The film won the Teddy Award at the Berlinale.
