Raak mij aan! Touch me!

The young assistant of an industry mogul gradually grows aware of the toxic workplace she's ended up in.

Jane (Julia Garner) has just landed her dream job as a low-ranking assistant to a powerful entertainment mogul in New York. As the person at the very bottom of the totem pole, her day is very much like any other assistant's, doing dreary routine jobs like copying scripts, arranging meetings, ordering lunch and cleaning up coffee cups. We never get to see the executive whom she works for but his authority and his explosive and random bursts of anger provide a constant menacing undertone.

Her colleagues' solidarity soon turns to opportunism when they spot an opportunity. As the day slowly progresses, Jane and the viewer gain an insight into the extent of the abuse, the sexism and the prevailing culture of silence. It soon becomes subtly clear that a certain depravity has permeated the company to its core. Jane, however, remains true to her ideals and decides to confront the abuse head on.
